Corona virus or COVID-19 has been declared pandemic by the World Health Organization. It is an exciting time with a lot of unknowns and while we have no answers, we want to tell our customers as well as other small businesses what we know about and give some advice.

The public health is affected by this pandemic, and the economy is affected. Google reports that “searching interests in coronaviruses have increased world-wide by + 260 percent, since the first week of February.” Although spikes in search patterns are normal in these scale events, the trafficking of drugs and related topics have increased as a direct result of the pandemic.

The management of Adbuz has closely watched the news, and we have replied with the action to ensure that all Adbuz staff is in default remotely. However, we have taken every step to ensure that our activities and customers are minimally disrupted. When offering practical advice and encouraging you to do the same thing to practical and public health practitioners, we looked to our own experts to include more information about what steps you should now take on your online promotional account.

Communicating improvements quickly and successfully would be crucial to preserving relationships with the customers. “In both situations advertisers should aim to create trust with current and prospective clients by constructive contact directly on the website through e-mail and/or content,” says Tyler. “If incidents or shops need to interrupt service, businesses should take into account their long-term relationship with consumers. They should recognize that a refund or compensation will help people who may experience stress or trouble in this time.”

The Adbuz account manager advises that these improvements be shared as quickly as possible online. “It is recommended that Google update your time and explanation on Google My Business profile when your company is affected. In addition to letting people know when they can stop their business, you can also update your description to provide more data on additional safeguards or changes in services. These changes will update Google Search and Maps ‘business information.

Adapt the plan something has happened in the COVID-19 as a direct or indirect outcome. Although people are advised to wash their hands to avoid the transmission of germs, a shortage of hand sanitizers, chlorine and washing linen and other related items has been noticed. A lot of working culture will change temporarily as businesses continue enforcing compulsory home-based work and travel and tourism will be affected, as our government forbids temporarily travel to other areas with high virus cases.

All of these transitions can be overwhelming, but the most we as advertisers can do is to look ahead to and to keep customers ‘minds as stable as possible with straightforward, succinct and relevant messages.

Unfortunately the ongoing inspection of COVID-19 has impacted environmental health and well-being worldwide and it is necessary to ensure the welfare of citizens. Many, if not most, businesses still fear the virus and keeping details up to date is key.

We’re putting people first here at Adbuz. In the coming weeks and days, we will expect more data and analysis while we continue to monitor the situation and markets.
