There are so many different tasks and obligations that need to be completed each day that you can likely be in a state of exhaustion by the time you get home. If this sounds like you, then it’s probably a struggle to stay awake and engaged in dinner conversations and evening activities. Take a closer look at your schedule and prioritize some items so that you can still spend some quality time with your kids, your pets, and your friends. These relationships bring meaning and satisfaction to your life and deserve to be put first. If you have a hard time making this happen during the week, then make a commitment to reserve your weekends for personal time. When you spend more time with the people that you love, you will develop a stronger relationship. It will be easier to notice any needs they have or problems that should be addressed.
