She has a private practice in New York City and East Hampton.
Beatty has over 35 years of clinical experience treating women and men of all ages and stages in life whose problems include: depression, anxiety, substance abuse, early child sexual abuse and relationship and sexual problems.
She earned her Master's of Social Work degree from Mc Gill University in Montreal, Canada and has post-graduate specialization in marriage and family therapy and sexual dysfunction. Beatty is happily married to Jim Vrettos who is a sociologist, activist and host of the Radical Imagination on MNN television.
