Brittany R. Collins is a student of English and education at UMass Amherst, as well as an author with a focus on education. Her peer-reviewed and digital publications have appeared in English Journal and Literacy & NCTE of the National Council of Teachers of English; Inside Higher Ed; Edutopia; Insight, of Dana Farber Cancer Institute; the Susan G. Komen Foundation; Brevity blog; and The Mighty, among others. In 2017, her editorial work with the online literary journal Voices & Visions was profiled by Ms. magazine and shared on social media by Gloria Steinem and the National Museum of Women in the Arts. When she isn't writing, Brittany enjoys coaching young authors as the Special Projects Coordinator for Write the World LLC, a global online writing community for middle and high school students.
