Dr. Miranda A. Farage has a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the University of Illinois and has been with P&G for more than 25 years. In 2012, Miranda was recognized as an esteemed Research Fellow.
Miranda is a renowned inventor of novel clinical test methods and digital transformations that have resulted in highly efficient capabilities and assessments of the safety of new technologies and products. Miranda has published on several topics such as skin science, Women’s health, Aging skin, Unified body/mind and Quality of Life. She has over 240 publications and over one dozen patents.
Miranda is Editor in Chief and Co-editor of five leading textbooks: 1) Textbook of Aging Skin, First and Second Editions, 2) The Vulva; Physiology and Clinical Management, Second Edition; 3) The Vulva: Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology, 4) Skin, Mucosa and Menopause, Management of Clinical Issues; 5) Topical Applications and the Mucosa. Miranda has received honorable external recognitions for her efforts in advancing the science and understanding of the female body, women’s health and improving quality of life of consumers including numerous invitations to speak at prestigious external scientific and medical conferences. Miranda also serves on the editorial board of several medical journals and is a member of many scientific societies including the American Academy of Dermatology, the European College of Society of Vulva Diseases, the National Vulvodynia Association, and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
