Victoria Jackson is a mother, philanthropist, medical research trailblazer, author, and self-made beauty entrepreneur who first rose to prominence in the 1980s with her global powerhouse brand Victoria Jackson Cosmetics. She went on to revolutionize the makeup industry with her “no makeup” makeup aesthetic. In 2008, when her young daughter was diagnosed with NMO, a rare autoimmune disorder, and given four years to live, Victoria shifted her focus to medicine. She and her husband established the Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation, which led to groundbreaking research. In recognition of Victoria’s unswerving dedication to this cause, feminist icon Gloria Steinem inducted her into the National Women’s Hall of Fame in 2016. The following year at the Vatican, Victoria accepted the Pontifical Key Advocacy Award for her visionary approach to advancing the understanding of NMO around the globe. Victoria has authored four books, including The Power of Rare: A Blueprint for a Medical Revolution. Today, she continues to lead her namesake brand and cosmetics empire.
