Fall is a time of shorter days in the northern hemisphere. There is a natural impulse to turn inward. To reflect and rest in the blessed darkness. To allow creative energy to be nurtured and rebuild in preparation for spring. The invention of artificial light has created both opportunity and challenge for us.

This is also a time of celebration of returning light. Many cultures have rituals involving light this time of year, Christmas lights being one example.

I wish for you warmth and rest, nurturing and peace now and through the coming season.
